Witness the  naga  sadhus  and  throngs  of  devotees  display their paramount vigor as they take a holy dip in the freezing waters,  with  the  sole  purpose  of  surrender  to  the  almighty and seeking nirvana.

Positioned  at  the  highest  point  of  the  Kumbh  Mela,  Sangam Nivas offers the perfect vantage point for guests to observe and  soak  in  the  atmosphere  of  the  Kumbh.  The  camp  is directly  in  line  with  the  Sangam,  the  main  bathing  area  and overlooks  the  Akharas  of  the  sadhus,  religious  communities and seers. An exclusive viewing terrace adds to the experience, by  offering  the  guests  a  chance  to  marvel  at  the  ocean  of enthusiastic  devotees,  without  leaving  the  comforts  of  the camp. Telescopes and binoculars will be available for guests to get a panoramic view of the Kumbh Mela.

Locations include Kashi, Akharas, Varanasi and the Kathmandu in Nepal.

We have two categories of tents for our guests to  choose  from,  Luxury  tents  and  Super  Luxury  Deluxe  tents. These  specially  appointed  spacious  tents  are  equipped  with modern amenities and ornate bespoke furnishings. The tents are representative of the elegance that the TUTC brand embodies.

Guests will be treated to simple yet unique culinary experience during their stay. The dining tent will feature a live kitchen where vegetarian including ‘satvik’ food will be freshly prepared with a variety of options to choose from.

The menus on offer will give a delectable and distinctive taste of fine Indian cuisine. Freshly baked breads, pies and cookies will be prepared in bakery for our guests to relish.

Note: As the Kumbh Mela is a spiritual gathering, consumption of non-vegetarian food and alcohol is strictly prohibited and will not be allowed on the premises of Sangam Nivas.

Afternoon at leisure or Explore Allahabad or Participate in an Auspicious Puja
In the hustle bustle of the Kumbh Mela along with the millions of devotees who descend in Allahabad, feel
adventurous to explore some renowned sites such as Mankameshwar Temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva and the
belief goes that what’s wished for does come true. Take a stroll to Saraswati Ghat – a very famous bathing ghat
followed by a visit to the Alopi Temple which is unique as there is no statue of a deity in the temple; however a
wooden carriage is worshipped.
Note: The optional excursion to Allahabad City will not be available on bathing dates and a day prior to the
bathing date

After an early breakfast you will be drive to Varanasi (approx 03 hrs drive), upon arrival proceed for lunch at
local restaurant.
Later proceed for excursion to Sarnath (15 Kms/ 01 Hrs one way drive approx)
It is one of the important Buddhist centres. It is the site where Lord Buddha had preached his first sermon or
in religious language, set in motion the Wheel of Law (Maha-Dharmachakra-Pravartan) enshrining the
principles of his teaching into laws. 200 years later, in 3rd century BC, the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka who
spread the Buddha's message of love and compassion throughout his vast empire, built massive stupas, viharas
and monasteries making it the centre of the Buddhist world. Several Buddhist structures were raised at Sarnath
between 3rd century BC and 11th century AD and today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places
on the Buddhist trail.
